Two reasons why zt40-185-740 is not recommended
As ztb40-185-740 closed profiled steel plate has low rib height and small unsupported span, it is not suitable for buildings with large beam spacing. It can be used in some projects with thin floors or high requirements for mezzanine floors.
However, the consumption of zt40-185-740 closed profiled steel plate is not very large in the market at present. As a manufacturer, we do not recommend this type of steel plate very much. The reasons are as follows:
The results are as follows: 1. The strength of zt40-185-740 closed profiled steel sheet is not very high, and its price is not superior to that of the same strength profiled steel sheet;
2. The loss is relatively large. Because the feeding width is 1200mm, there is basically no 1200mm coil in the market, so it can only be replaced by 1250mm. As a result, the 740 closed profiled steel plate must be separated by a slitter for 50mm in production, and the separated materials are basically useless.
Therefore, we suggest that if it is not strictly required by the drawing, other plate types can be considered. For example, zt42-215-645 closed profiled steel plate.
